Prepare NOW for the Holidays

The holiday season is right around the corner and there's no better time than now to get a jump start on preparations. Here are some tips to help get you started:Create Lists. Do some planning. Will you host a holiday gathering? Planning any travel? What's on the gift lists? Gather your thoughts and write them down. Start by learning what your gift recipients are longing for (use wish lists), then get online and order ASAP.Clear the fridge.  If you'll be doing extra cooking and baking during the holidays, now is the time to make space. Do some meal planning with items that have been hanging around in the freezer.Get Guest Ready.  Will you have visitors during the holidays? Are there any lingering home projects that need to be wrapped up? Schedule service calls and get the house in order. Having guests is a great motivator to get projects done!Prepare for the Deluge. The holiday season adds plenty of clutter in the house. Declutter now. Getting your space streamlined and simplified will help keep you from getting overwhelmed by all of the incoming.Sending Cards? Don't wait until the last minute to get that perfect picture taken and cards addressed.
