Friday Favorite: Best All-Around Hanger

If you're looking for hangers, there are so many options out there, it's hard to know what to pick. Certainly there are different types of hangers that are good for specific purposes. A nice wood hanger is a great option for an entryway closet or for men's suits, but for most other items a clear plastic hanger is the best choice. When I say plastic, I don't mean those cheap tubular plastic hangers that we bought 12 for $1.00 when heading off to college. These are sturdy hangers with clear hard plastic and a metal swivel hook. You find them in clothing stores everywhere--do you know why? Because they are the best hangers! They are slim, you can fit many on a rod (much more than the colored tubular hangers), they don't sag because the plastic is hard, and the top swivels so you can quickly hang in either direction. You can also add foam stickers or double stick tape on the ends of the hanger to keep clothes from slipping off. Switching over all of the hangers in your closet definitely makes an impact and raises the level of organization in the closet.
