Summer Purge

We purchase things and continuously add to what we have, but how often do we make time to eliminate the excess? Take time this summer and purge what you no longer use. Here are some tips to get the weed-out under way:Use the "One In, Two Out" ruleFor every item you bring in, eliminate two. This will prevent clutter from collecting and eliminate excess.Be purge readyKeep a container handy in the closet for outgoing clothing that you know you just aren't going to wear anymore.Schedule a yard saleHave you been planning a yard sale for the past three years? Have items been accumulating in a corner somewhere? Commit now and put a date on the calendar.Sell onlineOne man's trash is another man's treasure. Make use of websites and apps, for example: eBay, Facebook groups, Poshmark, Offer Up, etc... to sell worthy items that you just aren't using anymore.Donate regularlyCall and schedule a regular pick up from a local charitable organization. When you know they're coming, fill up a bag.
