Friday Favorite: Rubbermaid Drawer Organizers

There are so many different gadgets out there to help you get your drawers in order. Many of them do a fine job at sectioning various compartments to organize all of the little odds and ends in your junk drawer, but I have to say that my one of my favorite tools for organizing those pesky "hold everything" drawers is the good old fashioned Rubbermaid Drawer Organizers. I love the sizes they are available in. They have a nifty inconspicuous lip on one side of every container and they hook together in your drawers. You can fill the drawer full with them or use only a few. If you only use a few, put some Museum Putty on the bottom to help keep them from slipping around.  The small square drawer organizers are great for rubber bands, paper clips, loose change etc. The long narrow containers are perfect for sorting pens, pencils, markers etc. and there's larger square ones to hold any other miscellaneous items that you would find in a junk drawer. Stop randomly throwing everything into your junk drawer and get it organized. Don't forget to organize first and then get the containers so you will know exactly what you need.
