Friday Favorite: Have your Kids help make Lovely Labels

Art Labels Chaos to OrderKnowing exactly where things are is a key part of being (and staying) organized. Labeling containers of all kinds makes knowing what's inside a whole lot easier. Even if you know what's inside, having the label makes the decision-making process that much quicker. My daughter who's 10, thought of this great idea for making labels a little more fun. She created her own artistic labels for our cereal containers. As she was making them, I thought, what a great idea for labels. Not only do you get to see the child's artwork, you get a terrific one-of-a-kind label. You can use plain white paper with clear packing tape over it like my daughter used, or you can paint and get creative with papers as well.  If you have kids (of label making age) consider this idea. It's not only a fun art project, you will also get a little more organized in the process!
