Friday Favorite: 6-Peg White Rack

The best way to keep things organized is to have a system that is super easy to maintain. When organizing children, we always find the simplest solution in the hope that they will find it easy enough to create a habit. We adults are really no different. If it's hard to do, the chances of taking that extra step (especially when we are in a hurry) lessens. A simple solution to clothing and bags getting dumped on the floor or a nearby chair or table is hooks. I love this 6-Peg White Rack from Crate & Barrel. It's a great solution in an entryway, or anywhere that something could hang. I put one of these behind the door in my daughters room. She has about a 6" return wall where the door could get pushed back a little extra. Rather than putting the door back further, I created a little niche where she hangs sweatshirts and bags. It's the perfect solution for the extra junk that used to get tossed on her desk chair or thrown on the floor.
