Organization for the Serious Baker
If you are a serious baker, then you'll love having an organized place to keep staple baking ingredients. Having a drawer to keep flour, sugar, and of all the frequently used items would help make baking so much more efficient. I'm not much of a cook, so I like to keep flour and sugar in Click Clack Containers like these: But if you're a baker and there's a fine layer of flour dust around your kitchen counters, you might want to consider re-purposing a drawer exclusively for baking necessities. The drawer below is a great example of a Do-It-Yourself project. They took lucite containers with lids and placed them in the drawer. It's so much easier to access ingredients this way as opposed to having dust collecting containers sitting out wasting precious counter space. What steps can you take in your kitchen to make baking/cooking more efficient? So often people stick with keeping things in the same position that was picked on moving day. Re-think some of your storage area based on current needs and do some re-arranging to accommodate. Remember, organizing now will save you time and frustration in looking for things in the future.
