Website Wednesday: HomeSnap, an App for House Hunters

Here's an interesting App if you're searching for a house, and intriguing even if you're not. Good Housekeeping compared it to Shazam for houses. With Home Snap, you take a photo of a house you're interested in and the App gives you all the information that is available on the house according to public record. Estimated value, number of bedrooms and baths, square footage, property taxes, sales information, etc...Great to make you're search as organized as possible! It works via GPS. Even though it asks you to snap a photo of the house, it often needs to clarify exactly which address you are inquiring about. It may not work as well with houses in very close proximity, but when I put it to the test, it did just fine. Check it out if you're in the housing market, or even just to satisfy your curiosity–it's pretty cool!
