Web Wednesday: Best Apps for Planning a Road Trip

Summer is the time to plan an adventure, and going on a family road trip can be one of the highlights. Here are some Apps that I have found useful in helping plan a road trip.

Roadtrippers: Integrated with Google Maps, it tells you all of the points of interest along your route. Haven't you ever passed through a town and wondered what you might be missing? This app will let you know everything along the way, from museums and points of interest to entertainment and history--super cool!

Cheap Gas: Find the cheapest gas around and compare prices, then you can map it to where the cheap gas is found.

Road Trip Fun: Remember I Spy and the License Plate game? This app has a list of all the fun games and directions on how to play them, they are not electronic games, just the traditional road trip games to help unplug the kids from electronics.
